Serve as a Physician Assistant and commissioned Medical Corps Officer in the Army National Guard, providing essential healthcare support to Soldiers and their families. Work alongside physicians, make critical medical decisions, and help fill treatment gaps in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical care and support within a military environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure community health
• Participate in military orientation and specialized training at Fort Sam Houston
• Assist in maintaining the health and readiness of the military community

Requirements

• Must meet medical and moral standards for commissioning
• U.S. citizenship
• Accredited degree
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
• Minimum age of 21 (up to 58 for some advanced professionals)
• Some roles require completing initial military training
• Enlistment required; MOS assignment depends on availability
