Physician Assistant (Full-Time)

About the Role

The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical services at a military medical facility, including screenings, examinations, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and patient education for routine, acute, and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care within scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to emergencies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and immunizations
• Promote health maintenance and preventive care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate findings effectively to patients and providers
• Ensure compliance with all policies, licensure, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Appropriate state licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Current national certification (e.g., NCCPA)
• DEA registration
• Clinical competency in a military or similar healthcare setting

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1630.
