About the Role
This position involves practicing professional nursing and medicine, including independent and delegated medical functions, in specialized fields such as emergency, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, psychiatric mental health, urogynecology, oncology, and rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Collect and review patient history, conduct physical exams, and analyze lab/radiologic data.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop treatment plans aligned with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures within expertise and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, disease prevention, and health promotion.
- Document all patient interactions and care activities thoroughly.
- Manage telehealth encounters, in-basket tasks, and emergency situations.
- Lead and collaborate within healthcare teams, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and licensure.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in nursing or bachelor's in a related field, with relevant certifications and licenses.
- Active licensure, prescriptive authority, and certification as required by state regulations.
- Ability to perform procedures, provide patient education, and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience.
- Willingness to travel within the region for operational needs.
