About the Role

This position involves practicing as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant, providing independent and delegated medical functions in various specialties including Emergency, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, and review relevant tests to assess patient health.
  • Formulate accurate diagnoses with differential considerations.
  • Develop and execute treatment plans, including medication orders, tests, and referrals, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Perform procedures within expertise and educate patients on treatment, prevention, and health promotion.
  • Record all care activities accurately and manage telehealth encounters and urgent situations.
  • Lead and collaborate with healthcare team members, maintain clinical competence, participate in quality assurance, and adhere to legal and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in nursing or a bachelor's in a related field.
  • Valid licensure and certifications including prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
  • Preferred experience in oncology.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
