About the Role
This position involves practicing professional nursing and medicine within approved standards, utilizing specialized knowledge to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across various specialties including emergency, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, psychiatric health, urogynecology, oncology, and rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Collect and review patient data, including history, examinations, and relevant studies.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop treatment plans aligned with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures within expertise and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, prevention, and health promotion.
- Document all clinical activities thoroughly.
- Manage telehealth encounters, emergency actions, and administrative duties.
- Lead patient-centered care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in nursing or bachelor's degree with appropriate certification for PAs.
- Valid licensure, certification, and registration as required.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, procedures, patient education, and documentation.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to legal and organizational policies.
- Credentialing, national certification, and licensure compliance.
- Ability to obtain prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Preferred oncology experience; travel may be necessary within the region.
