PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON, CF (IM/FP) - Correctional Training Facility (CTF)

This position is located at the Correctional Training Facility (CTF) in Soledad, CA, Monterey County. This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week, with a monthly salary range of $10,670.80 to $11,856.00. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) reduces base salary by 4.62% and provides 8 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly for at least 16 months, applicable to part-time employees on a prorated basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients in a correctional facility, including medical assessments and treatment as authorized by medical license and consistent with Department policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
- Offer clinical consultation and support to Advanced Practice Providers.
- Instruct nursing and other clinical staff on medical protocols.
- Adhere to professional medical standards of care.
- Perform on-call duties as assigned.
Pay
- Monthly part-time salary range: $10,670.80 to $11,856.00.
- Authorized Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) rates: P $10,670.80, Q $11,262.40, R $11,856.00.
Schedule
- Part-time position: 16 hours per week.
