Medical Assistant, CF - Correctional Training Facility (CTF)

Job Summary

This part-time position is available at Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, Monterey County. The position is open to candidates with valid certificates from agencies approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California, to practice as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Supports primary care providers in various health care settings by performing patient-oriented procedures.
• Provides support to the Primary Care Team (PCT) for daily clinic operations.
• Communicates effectively with patients and members of the PCT and other health care team members.
• Addresses the ongoing needs of patients and promotes the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.

Requirements

• Active certification status from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California, to practice as a Medical Assistant.

• Possession of a valid certificate from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California to practice as a Medical Assistant.
