Physician and Provider Recruiter

About the role

The Physician and Provider Recruiter facilitates the placement of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to ensure access to high-quality medical services throughout the communities BayCare serves. This role maintains a strong understanding of the medical community and BayCare Health System services while utilizing recruitment, marketing, public relations, and business development techniques to attract top clinical talent. The recruiter serves as a key liaison between candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the recruitment and placement of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Maintain a strong understanding of the medical community and BayCare Health System services.
• Utilize recruitment, marketing, public relations, and business development techniques to attract top clinical talent.
• Serve as a key liaison between candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations:

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or
• Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience as a Provider Recruitment Specialist; or
• High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of physician recruitment or healthcare recruitment experience.

Preferred Certifications

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
• Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (CMSR)
• Recruitment Management Specialist Recruiter (RMSR)
• Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) Certification

Position Details

Location: Concourse Center, Tampa, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite every Tuesday)

Schedule

• Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On-Call: No
