At RestorixHealth, our mission is to restore health and improve the quality of life – and access to care – for patients with wounds. The Physician and Community Liaison role combines clinical expertise with community outreach to enhance, promote, and develop our wound care programs.

About the Role

Promotes RestorixHealth (RXH) and hospital comprehensive wound care program benefits to hospital-affiliated and community physicians, including vascular surgeons, podiatrists, plastic surgeons, oral surgeons, general surgeons, primary care physicians, nursing associations, hospitals, LTC facilities, and workers’ compensation case managers. The role increases awareness of the program’s multidisciplinary approach to wound care, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), and its benefits to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a tactical marketing strategy with the RXH Regional Director, Program Director, and hospital-client to increase program awareness.
  • Calls on medical professionals to educate them on the program’s multidisciplinary approach to wound care, including HBO, and how it benefits their patients.
  • Creates a target list of prospective professionals using sources such as WoundDocs, hospital marketing, directories, trade shows, associations, and web sites.
  • Develops a strategic plan to meet monthly goals based on the target list and related strategies.
  • Collaborates with Regional Director, Program Directors, and stakeholders to develop work plans, measure progress, and keep the team informed.
  • Executes promotional programs, including Wound Care Symposiums, CME Workshops, and community/physician goodwill events.
  • Represents RestorixHealth and hospital-client at community healthcare events, trade shows, and physician panel meetings.
  • Manages daily/weekly sales activities’ expenses, including mileage and community education expenses, for reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and a minimum of two (2) years of healthcare, physician-directed educational, and marketing experience.
  • Ability to develop effective business relationships with senior management, administrators, physicians, nurses, and other decision-makers.
  • Strong focus on providing superior customer support and service.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence others, and achieve results.
  • High levels of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing projects.
  • Ability to speak extemporaneously to individuals and groups.
  • Strong ability to develop and present information and respond to questions from medical professionals and the public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in communicating complex technical/medical terminology and maintaining competitive product knowledge.
