Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Per Diem
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a per diem basis at our Lake Park, Florida facility. As a Physical Therapy Assistant at North Lake Care Center, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery, and regain their strength and mobility.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Absorb and execute patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current Florida licenses as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Pay
$40.00/hour
