Responsibilities
- Transportation of patients
- Therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Implementing treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist (PT)
- Carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients’ long-term goals
- Training patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices
Requirements
- Valid state PTA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
