Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapy techniques and modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or adjustments to the supervising therapist.
  • Document care services and patient outcomes with accuracy and clarity.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about physical challenges and therapeutic goals.
  • Support discharge planning, including equipment recommendations and community resource referrals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program.
  • Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
  • Licenses: Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.
