About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, you will be supporting the Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Absorb and assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities
- Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program, required
- Current PTA license in the state of Arkansas in good standing, required
- CPR certification
- Previous rehab or acute care experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The shift is Full-Time (FT) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
