Role: Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities Perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance well-being following a care plan supervised by a PTFollow state-specific laws and only perform procedures within training and qualificationInstruct patients in exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic trainingObserve, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare teamCoordinate care and educate patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practiceAdapt to various home environments regardless of client demographics Qualifications & Skills Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in the stateValid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportationAvailability for weekend rotationsPreferred: CPR certification and physical ability for mobility assistance Key Duties: Follow treatment plans, assist with exercises, monitor patient progress, coordinate with healthcare team, and provide education to patients and families.
