Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being within the established care plan. Key Responsibilities Follow state-specific laws and supervise physical therapy procedures as defined by the supervising PT.Assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on therapy activities.Adapt to various home environments regardless of patient demographics. Qualifications & Skills Licensed or certified to practice physical therapy in the state.Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.Availability for weekend rotations.Preferred: CPR certification, physical ability for mobility assistance.
