About the Role
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides patient-centered, hands-on care in a home health setting, focusing on restoring strength, mobility, and independence. Collaborating with licensed therapists, you will implement individualized treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, transfers, and use modalities like ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services under supervision
- Support patient education on exercises and safety
- Assist with mobility, balance, and functional activities
- Monitor and report patient progress and response to treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing training
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PTA program with current license/certification
- 1+ year experience preferred; home health experience a plus
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
