Job Summary
As a Physical Therapy Assistant PRN with HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, you will improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. You will work in a supportive environment with well-defined processes, caseloads, and a strong partnership with your team and supervising PTs.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
- Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care
- Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
- Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence
