Physical Therapy Assistant Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Assist with Physical Therapy treatment to patients as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s evaluation and treatment plan in accordance with APTA and WSAPTA guidelines and state laws.
• Comply with corporate compliance and confidentiality guidelines established by The Everett Clinic.
• Interact regularly with referring providers and their staff.
• Frequent interactions with patients and their families.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment by acting maturely, responsibly, and professionally toward fellow employees, physicians, and patients.
• Relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions, including teamwork, negotiation, supervision, persuasion, and responding openly to feedback.
• Perform all duties in a manner that supports The Everett Clinic’s Core Values and Compact.
• Integrate Lean principles, practices, and tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Follow written and oral instructions and complete routine tasks independently.
• Complete annual compliance training on HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, non‑discrimination, harassment, integrity, and sign related agreements.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TEC policies.
• Attend required training to meet job‑position requirements and mandated regulations (TEC policies, DOSH, OSHA, L&I, etc.).
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an APTA‑approved program.
• Physical Therapist Assistant licensure.
• 2 + years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated solid customer service skills.
• Proven excellent communication skills.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $24 – $43 per hour based on full‑time employment and factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. The position complies with all applicable minimum wage laws.
