Physical Therapy Assistant (Part-Time) or (Full)-Time

About the role

Carry out the care plan designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assist during evaluations.

Maintain documentation in the system detailing resident activities, progress, and billing activities.

Perform home assessments as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT.

Conduct screenings during admission and quarterly & annual screenings to assess the need for therapy as directed by the PT.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Requires an Associate Degree from an APTA accredited program.
• Requires a current State of Florida PTA license.
• Two years experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Education Required: Associate Degree or better in Physical Therapy Assistant.

Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
