Physical Therapy Assistant (Part-Time/Full-Time)

About the role

Provide patient care as a Home Care Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), assisting with treatments and follow-up under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Update care plans in collaboration with therapists and physicians
• Plan patient re-evaluations
• Document patient progress accurately
• Coordinate schedules and referrals
• Participate in patient care conferences
• Attend mandatory in-services
• Coordinate with healthcare team members

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Current State licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Minimum of one year of therapeutic experience
• Knowledge of physical therapy concepts
• Strong communication and organization skills
• CPR certification
• Flexibility for travel and varying working conditions
