Physical Therapy Assistant (Part-Time) or (Full)-Time

About the role

Carry out the care plan designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assist during evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation in the system regarding resident’s activities, progress, and billing activities.
• Perform resident’s home assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT.
• Conduct resident’s screening during admission and quarterly & annual screenings to assess therapy needs as directed by the PT.

Requirements

• AAS degree from an APTA accredited program.
• A current Florida PTA license.
• Two years experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
