Physical Therapy Assistant - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits following a plan of care under a Physical Therapist's guidance.
• Assist patients with exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervisor.
• Educate patients and families to support rehabilitation efforts.

Requirements

• Unrestricted current license as a PTA in the relevant state.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.
• At least one year of professional experience as a PT or PTA in home health or a similar setting.
