Physical Therapy Assistant - Part Time

Location: Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living, Novi, Michigan

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (25 hours a week; 5 days a week - 5 hours daily). The ideal candidate MUST have Skilled Nursing experience. Join our team to support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. Responsibilities

• Provide a holistic approach, supporting residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Deliver day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet residents' needs across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care.
• Follow Medicare, state, and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures to ensure compliance in care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on their strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Work with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout their care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the older adult population in therapies (preferred).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current state license in physical therapy for the state in which the community provides service (where applicable). Note: Specific state regulations may take precedence over these requirements.

Pay

Starting at $32 hourly, commensurate with experience.
