About the Role
The Physical Therapist Assistant performs patient treatments, exercises, and education to enhance well-being, following established care plans under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to state laws and supervise treatment procedures within qualifications.
- Instruct patients in exercises, gait, activities of daily living (ADL), transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
- Provide care in diverse home settings, respecting all clients regardless of background.
Requirements
- Licensed or certified to practice physical therapy assistance in the state.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and assisting with mobility.
- CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
- Willingness to work weekends and adapt to various home environments.

Pay
Offers a range of hourly, per visit, and total cash pay based on productivity and performance.
