Physical Therapy Assistant (Licensed) - Home Health

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, patient education, and exercise instruction to improve patient well-being, following a plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Perform therapy procedures within legal and training boundaries, recommending plan adjustments as needed.Instruct patients in exercises, gait, ADLs, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on therapy-related activities.Adapt to diverse home environments, ensuring quality care regardless of client background. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance.Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.Availability for weekend rotations.Preferred: CPR certification and physical ability for mobility assistance.
