About the role
Physical Therapy Assistants help provide therapeutic services and activities under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to help patients in need successfully maintain or improve their level of independence. Working in Home Health provides the unique opportunity to care for your patients where they are most comfortable.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing therapeutic services and activities to patients in their homes.
- Help patients achieve their goals related to physical therapy through exercises and activities.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the patient’s healthcare team.
- Care for patients’ needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Average of 1 year of experience in a home health setting preferred.
- Current CPR certification (BLS).
- Active Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of home health care procedures and protocols.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full Time, Days, 8am to 4:30pm for 5 times a week
