Role Overview: As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will implement treatment plans, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients to enhance their well-being, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Key Responsibilities Follow state laws and treatment plans, performing procedures qualified and trained for, and recommend plan adjustments to the supervising PT.Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.Monitor, record, and communicate patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy within your scope of practice.Adapt to diverse home environments, ensuring equitable care regardless of client background. Qualifications And Skills Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in the respective state.Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle or transportation access.Availability for weekend rotations.Preferred: CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility.
