Responsibilities
- Perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance well‑being within the plan of care.
- Follow all state laws, perform only qualified procedures, and recommend plan adjustments to the supervising PT.
- Instruct and assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Observe, record, and report patient responses, condition changes, and coordinate care with healthcare team members.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members in therapy areas within scope.
Qualifications
- Licensed, registered, or certified to practice physical therapy in the applicable state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse home settings.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation.
- Availability for weekend rotations.
- Preferred: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
Pay
The role offers total cash compensation ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 annually, based on full‑time productivity, including per‑visit and hourly pay. Compensation varies with productivity, experience, and location.
