Physical Therapy Aide -Outpatient orthopedic & neuro

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to licensed therapists and assistants with patient care and therapeutic activities.
• Maintains the treatment area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Performs clerical duties such as ordering and stocking departmental supplies.
• Transports patients to and from therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assists with patient transfers, treatments, and delivery of therapy equipment.
• Manages the therapy schedule, tracks equipment usage, and ensures daily cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintains high personal standards, professionalism, and positive relationships with team members and patients.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent education.
• Prior hospital Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with others with tact and diplomacy.
• Good verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic clerical skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within three months of hire.

Qualifications

Benefits

• Position supports PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Hand therapists in an outpatient orthopedic and neuro setting.

USD $18.47 - USD $25.01 /Hr.
