Physical Therapist (PT) - Remote
About the Role
E-Therapy is hiring a Remote School Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is 100% remote and offers both part-time and full-time opportunities. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, individualized therapy to students in grades K-12. If you’re not currently licensed in California, we’ll guide you through the licensure process and explore opportunities in other states.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and goals tailored to students' specific needs and abilities.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, range of motion, and functional independence.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' physical therapy needs.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure in California or other states).
- Experience providing physical therapy services in a pediatric or school setting.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric physical therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in physical therapy (preferred).

Schedule
