About the role
Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients get well and bring their power back. In this role, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, designing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities. You're adaptable to the needs of the patient, find joy in the variety of the work and settings, and collaborate with peers while making referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive. As a Physical Therapist, you are also a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on the skills they need to promote independence and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans
- Deliver physical therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
- Address the whole patient as an individual
- Adapt to the needs of each patient
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Physical Therapy degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
