Physical Therapist (PT) - Ortho/Sports Med

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall health.
• Design and adjust personalized care plans based on patient response, clinical findings, and evidence.
• Perform patient transfers, utilize safe body mechanics, and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare staff using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings, perform examinations, and determine diagnoses and treatment outcomes.
• Screen patients to assess therapy needs and effectiveness of interventions.
• Supervise support personnel, monitor care delivery, and provide feedback.
• Communicate with the medical team, document care according to standards, and meet customer service and productivity goals.
• Serve as a clinical instructor and participate in team and department activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with valid licensure in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety, dignity, and empathy.
