Responsibilities

• Performing safe patient transfers and demonstrating proper body mechanics.
• Providing education to patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Utilizing outcome measures to reflect functional performance accurately.
• Collaborating with patients and families, supervising support personnel, and communicating care plans effectively.
• Providing supervision to PT assistants and technicians, ensuring quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Completion of continuing education on acute stroke care.
