About the role

The NICU Physical Therapist delivers direct patient care as a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, promoting optimal developmental outcomes and medical stability for premature and medically complex infants in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care to premature and medically complex infants in the NICU.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide education to families on infant care and development.
  • Document patient care activities and progress in the electronic health record.

Requirements

  • Washington Physical Therapist License upon hire.
  • BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric Physical Therapy experience.
  • Recent Physical Therapy experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Day Shift, Part Time with the opportunity to work Full Time – 20 hours to 40 hours a week.
