About the Role
The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. They provide care across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and customer-oriented manner.
Responsibilities
- Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, providing education and discharge instructions.
- Establishes and evaluates treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans with physicians and patients.
- Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Adheres to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, and follows infection prevention protocols.
- Communicates effectively with team members, participates in meetings, and organizes workload efficiently.
- Provides excellent customer service, fosters teamwork, and applies service recovery principles.
- Engages in professional development activities, completes mandatory training, and maintains licensure.
- Performs additional duties as assigned, complying with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licenses and certifications including PT and BLS are required upon hire.
- Effective communication and customer service orientation.
- Team player with basic computer skills.
