Physical Therapist PRN Inpatient Rehab - Days

About the Role

The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.

Responsibilities

• Develops treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, and revises goals with patient/family input.
• Provides education, discharge instructions, and community referrals.
• Collaborates with physicians for ongoing evaluation and establishes realistic discharge plans.
• Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, confidentiality, and infection prevention.
• Promotes excellent customer service using AIDET principles, fosters teamwork, and maintains effective communication.
• Participates in professional development, mandatory training, and team meetings.
• Performs workload organization and utilizes equipment safely and cost-effectively.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, adhering to organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certifications in BLS and other relevant credentials required upon hire.
