Physical Therapist PRN Inpatient Rehab - Days

About the role

Provides physical therapy assessments, develops and implements treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Ensures care is cost-effective, quality-focused, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments and collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans.
• Implements therapy interventions, revises goals with patient and family input, and provides education and discharge instructions.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to departmental standards.
• Acts as a referral resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
• Maintains ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and team communication.
• Participates in professional development, mandatory training, and contributes to a positive patient and team environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• PT license and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
