About the role
This position involves planning and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment programs, conducting evaluations, and designing care plans tailored to patients' diagnoses, age, and background. The role includes supervising and mentoring Physical Therapists, Assistants, and Students, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessments, interpret examination results, establish treatment goals, and develop comprehensive, flexible intervention plans.
- Reassess patient progress, modify treatments accordingly, and provide patient and family education on diagnoses and long-term outcomes.
- Document all activities accurately and timely, participate in team and departmental meetings, and assist with departmental equipment and supplies management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, valid PT licensure, and clinical competency across patient ages.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and judgment skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Duties
- Support departmental initiatives, contribute to productivity standards, provide supervision and mentorship, and participate in ongoing education and performance evaluations.
