BayCare is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center. Located on the campus of Morton Plant Hospital, we offer a range of therapies including physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy, along with complex nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver physical therapy services to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to restore function and mobility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• PREFERRED: Master's or Doctorate's degree in Physical Therapy
• Required: 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Exempt: No
• Status: Pool
• Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Days
• On Call: No

This position does not require remote work. The team member will be required to undergo Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
