PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PER DIEM)
About the role
The Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first of its kind to offer both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location. As part of Universal Health Services, this role is part of a larger network of healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting functional mobility.
- Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to facilitate maximum level of independence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
- Licensure/Certification: Nevada State License as a Registered Physical Therapist (see note below).
- Current BLS certification.
- Note: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
- May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognition of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners with on-site direct supervision.
Other
