Evaluation
The Physical Therapist TP* evaluates new patients, establishes goals, and develops appropriate treatment plans. They document all evaluations, treatments, and other pertinent patient interactions on a daily basis.
Education & Communication
- Educates patients and families regarding medical conditions and provides instructions for home activities.
- Communicates with physicians and their staff to obtain necessary information and suggests revisions in treatment.
Treatment & Support
- Maintains a satisfactory level of productivity and demonstrates willingness to adjust personal schedule in case of crisis or real clinic need.
- Collaborates with healthcare teams that include physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
- Utilizes treatment tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Orients, instructs, and directs work activities for assistants and support personnel.
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in relevant field required.
- No previous experience required.
- Valid State of Florida Physical Therapist license required.
- BLS required.
