Per Diem Physical Therapist
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop and implement treatment plans
- Document care using EMR
- Conduct evaluations and re-assess progress
- Provide patient education and perform functional and musculoskeletal interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adjust plans as needed
- Ensure safe, effective treatments in compliance with regulations
- Responsible for billing, documentation, and discharge planning
- Maintain professional and positive interactions with patients and staff
Key Duties
- Conduct patient evaluations
- Create and modify treatment plans
- Execute therapy interventions
- Record treatment data
- Provide patient education and functional training to promote recovery and independence
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred)
- Valid state licensure
- CPR certification
- Experience with EMR software
- Strong clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication, work ethic, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain a professional demeanor
