Physical Therapist - Per Diem

About the Role

Per Diem Physical Therapist providing therapy services on an as-needed basis to support patient recovery and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress using EMR software.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, musculoskeletal interventions, and functional training, including ADLs and community reintegration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and support systems, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain accurate billing documentation.
• Perform assessments, select appropriate tests, formulate diagnoses, and establish treatment goals.
• Provide safe, effective interventions, maintain detailed treatment notes, and participate in billing and documentation processes.
• Engage in ongoing education and uphold high standards of patient care and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Licensed in the state and CPR certified.
• Strong clinical decision-making, excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
• Experience with EMR software is preferred.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and dedication to patient success.
