Physical Therapist (Pelvic Floor) - Outpatient Rehab Marina (Per Diem)

About the Role

The staff physical therapist supports the mission of the Hospital by providing quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The physical therapist interacts and practices in collaboration with a variety of professionals involved in patient care, educates, engages in critical inquiry, and directs and supervises physical therapy services, including support personnel.

Physical therapy services include examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions to reduce patient disability. The physical therapist also provides prevention and wellness services. Experience with orthopedic and neurologic therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality physical therapy services, including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Educate patients and engage in critical inquiry related to physical therapy practices.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy services, including support personnel.
• Deliver prevention and wellness services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (required).
• Master’s or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred).
• Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent patient assignment.
• Must complete and pass all annual competencies.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy Board of California license (required).
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (required).

Pay

Pay range (based on years of applicable experience): $61.75 to $82.59 per hour.

Shift differentials:

• Evening Shift Differential: $3.87 per hour.
• Night Shift Differential: $5.81 per hour.

Schedule

Per Diem position.
