Physical Therapist - Part-time

Role Overview

A Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating and treating patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, ensuring optimal patient care and progress documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and discharge evaluations, develop treatment plans, and set functional goals.
• Perform therapy interventions to meet patient goals efficiently.
• Identify educational needs for patients, families, and staff, providing PRN as needed.
• Participate actively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns.
• Assist with equipment orders, communicate with vendors, and liaise with outside physicians and professionals.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates in clinical conferences.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, or Acute settings preferred.
• Valid BLS certification and GA PT licensure or eligibility.
• Basic computer literacy.
