Physical Therapist - Part-Time

Position Overview Seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing deformities in patients with injuries or diseases. The role involves providing patient-centered care across the continuum, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting overall quality and cost-efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and adjust treatment plans collaboratively with patients and families, including education, discharge instructions, and referrals.Conduct patient assessments, establish treatment goals, and evaluate progress with physician collaboration.Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental protocols.Maintain professional and ethical standards, ensure confidentiality, and adhere to infection prevention protocols.Engage in effective communication, teamwork, and participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.Promote excellent customer service, applying principles like AIDET, and foster a positive environment for patients and colleagues.Participate in professional development, complete required training, and support onboarding of new staff. Qualifications & Skills Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.Licensed as a Physical Therapist and certified in BLS or equivalent.Effective communication, customer service orientation, team-mindedness, and basic computer skills.
