Physical Therapist - Part-Time

About the Role

This position involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, with responsibilities including daily documentation, charging in the EMR, patient and staff education, and communication with team members and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and discharge evaluations, establish treatment goals, and document appropriately.
• Develop and deliver optimal treatment plans to achieve functional goals.
• Identify therapy educational needs and provide PRN services.
• Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as a clinical instructor/mentor for interns as needed.
• Engage in hospital and discipline-specific skills assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, or Acute settings preferred.
• GA PT license or eligibility and BLS certification required.
• Basic computer literacy essential.
