About the Role
The Physical Therapist conducts objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. Responsibilities include direct supervision of patients, indirect oversight of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and develop treatment programs
- Supervise rehabilitation staff (rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants)
- Ensure patient care aligns with departmental policies and standards
- Comply with legal and safety requirements
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current or Temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating adult and geriatric populations
Skills
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, and performing physical maneuvers like bending, kneeling, and reaching
