Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

The Dalles, Oregon-based Adventist Health Columbia Gorge offers a range of healthcare services including a 49-bed hospital, medical offices, home health, a birthing center, and more. Located near the picturesque Columbia River, The Dalles is known for its charming downtown area and diverse dining options.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.
• Serves as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention.
• Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' Physical Therapy experience: Preferred.
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required.
• Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $43.11 to $64.62. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
