About the Role
The physical therapist (PT) delivers and supervises physical therapy services, performing evaluations, developing personalized care plans, and reassessing treatment outcomes. They participate in discharge planning within a team-based approach involving multiple disciplines, patients, and significant others. Coverage may include inpatient and outpatient services at multiple clinics, with potential care for pediatric and adolescent orthopedic patients. Services adhere to ethical standards, policies, professional guidelines, and state laws.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Washington Physical Therapist License upon hire
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and adjust plans based on treatment progress
- Participate in discharge and team planning processes
- Provide care compliant with current standards and regulations
- Possibly cover pediatric orthopedic cases and both inpatient/outpatient settings
